"Maximizing your property value by design; Delivering your permit by expert knowledge of local code; Helping you to achieve your goal by truly understanding your need"
Reliability and Truthfulness
When it comes to translating ideas and concepts from one language to another, you want nothing to be misrepresented; you want to have a thoughtful and trusted source. A “electric power operated chair” is not “electric chair”; an “iconic image” is not “picturesque image”… The special value I bring to the translation work is my experience of a professional architect both in China and US. In 1996-98, I was the construction manager for Motorola’s Beijing Headquarter building at the east 3rd ring road of Beijing. From 1999-2003, I worked for Lohan Associates (1 N Wacker project) and Loewenberg Associates (Grand Plaza project). In 2004 I set up my own shop upon achieving Illinois licensure. In the past I have done Chinese translation work for design firms (OWPP) and real estate developers (General Growth) for their projects in China.
It is always exciting and challenging to encounter a new English phrase and to interrogate its meaning in Chinese, or vice versa. I have reliable resources for the most updated technical terminology in both languages, "displacement heating", "low-carbon environment", "electric hybrid heat pump water heater", ... I look forward working with you on the great ideas and concepts of your China projects
